The Journey Continues: What We Need

1 Peter 5:8-14

The Bottom Line
The one constant on the Journey is Christ. We can count on Him to lead us every step of the way, as He will never leave us or forsake us.

We need protection (v. 8-9a)

  • We need a disposition

  • We need to understand the Devil

  • We need determination

We need perspective (vv. 9b-11)

  • We need to understand our common experiences

  • We need to value His intent

  • We need to embrace the objective: His eternal glory

We need people (vv. 12-14)

  • We need faithful brothers (and sisters)

  • We need the Church(es)

  • We need leaders

  • We need Christ, and His peace
